In This Time of Sharing, The Sacred Circle of Life
Long time readers know that this blog has never been about me. The message is paramount, not the messenger. Maybe I'm getting sentimental in my older years, I don't know. Maybe a sense of mortality shakes us as we age, forcing us to consider our human frailties, and how we've lived our lives. We look back at the mistakes we made, the consequences of our actions, the love we took and gave, and we feel ever stronger the wonder of life itself, and how precious it really is. I wanted to share something with you, now that another part of the Circle of Life is completed for me. Please share my joy. Really enjoy this holiday season, folks. Tell your loved ones that you love them, hug them like there's no tomorrow, because none of us knows when the ride ends... Gerry, "CoyotePrime"

Yeah, that's me on the left, back in the day, holding my son. 24 years later, and that's him on the right holding his daughter, born November 29. Life moves on to new life, and the Circle of Life completes itself. And it's good, all so very good...

“The life of the people is like a great circle without end. Young ones are born, grow up, become old and die, and soon more young ones are born to take the place of the old ones. To us this is beautiful and fitting; symbol and reality at the same time, expressing the harmony of nature and life. Our circle is timeless, flowing; it is new life emerging from death – life winning out over death.”
